Rails, Zend, and my brain.

Well, I’ve decided to jump off the bridge with everyone else and learn this Ruby on Rails stuff. At least enough to decide if it’s something I want to take up or not.
While I’m at it, though, I’ll also be toying with the new Zend Framework for PHP. Since I speak fluent PHP, and Ruby is a foreign language to me,
I’ll feel like I’m making progress as far as my education goes, even if I’m slow to learn the Rails bit.
In other news (as I like to say), I have plans to start a national campaign for married couples, as well as start back up on xMEMPHISx development.
Thanks for your patience,
The End.

Weird Al, Kevin Price, and Me

I’m so bad at updates. Jeez.

In recent news, I realized who Daniel was, and felt pretty dumb. He and several friends make cool internet stuff.

I just wonder how he found little ol’ me. = )

Also, a very awesome person I know, Kevin Price, recently started a blog. What’s so great about that is I just listened to one of Weird Al’s new songs, “I’ll Sue Ya”, and not only is it hilarious, but it could be the theme song for the “Because I Said So…” blog. At least the first post.

And a quick last paragraph, as I’m finally here, but not staying long…

I bought a (used) car last week. I took it back. They had it fixed. It seems like something else is wrong now. I’ll be calling them on Monday.
= )

Have a great day,

I promise to write again soon,

The End.

Dear Daniel

Yes, believe it or not, not many people visit here. It’s very much a “small town” blog. Kinda like a mom-and-pop store, I guess, compared to all the amazing people that get thousands of readers a day.

It’s so small around here, actually, that I was perusing the registered users (people who registered to leave a comment, presumably) and noticed Daniel.

I don’t know Daniel. Which is normal. But for some reason his visit stuck out above other people. I’m very interested to know how he found the site. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to check out everything on his site, but I’m very interested to hear some of the music he’s aparently been making.

Perhaps he found me through my involvement with Just Roger.

Maybe he knows someone I know.

I’m not sure.

Hey Daniel: does it creep you out that I wrote a whole post about you? Sorry. = )

The End.

Rebirth

UPDATE: Dang, I totally broke it. Well… no time to fix it right now…

So, I think I’m gonna wrap this thing up, stab it, kill it, and bring it back to life again.

I’m finally on a normal schedule, so I might start writing on a regular basis! Oh, my!

So, tomorrow some time I’m wrecking this thing, and building it all back up again. = )

In other news: I’ve recently come across a couple of interesting problems in PHP that I couldn’t find a solution to – therefore causing me to write my own. I’ll be posting the details and code soon.

Oh, and I finally got that shiny new Job I’ve been wanting.

The End.

Me, again.

I know this barely counts as an update. This whole thing is barely my “thought-life”. If it were… I’d probably have died long ago.

This time around it’s not a crazy devotion, or even a message about my day. It’s a quote. Quotes are good. But it’s not cheesy. I’m not going to claim that it’s by some dead president, or even by some president that several of you probably wish were dead.

Nor will I claim to quote a dead man who was once worshipped, or a genious from Germany. I’ll not hype it up and claim that it’s the genious of a small child with severe mental retardation, who just won some medal in a special-olympics.

No, I’ll just go on and on about what it’s not, and expect you to forget all of that once you read it. I’ll just leave it the way it is. Just take the thought and think about it. Clear your mind, pray, meditate, whatever… then read it.

Because it’s cheesy enough that I’m even doing this.

So here goes…

Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?

Think about that. Now.
The End.
