New “Art”

The game was fun. Too hot, but fun. And the concert afterward was pretty cool.

Just wanted to let you know that I’m working on a couple of new pieces of “art”. One involves a week’s worth of junk-mail, a large pressed canvas thing, and lots of water. Oh, and possibly some bird poop, since it’s drying on my back porch, and there’s a very active bird nest in the corner. (I’ll post some pictures some time perhaps… of the birds I mean).

Also, I noticed that someone’s new Facebook mentioned that they like to read my cool “devo’s” or whatever… even though I haven’t written one in quite awhile. Sorry about that. You’ve inspired me.

My second week of new work starts tomorrow. Off to bed!

The End.

Busy, new job, Monkeyfight!

Been pretty busy transitioning from old-job to new-job, and all that jazz. So I’m sorry if I’ve been out of the online social loop. I also haven’t been contributing very much to that one side project of mine.

Just wanted to let you know that I picked up one of those $1 (one dollar!) DVDs from Wal-Mart. “The Invincible” with Bruce Lee – or wait – Bruce Li… or both, because both names are on the cover. [yes, I know it's probably translation stuff, but it's still funny!].

There’s an awesome 3 minute kung-foo fight involving gorillas that I’m going to make into a countdown video for The House. Aren’t you just so excited?

See you guys at the ‘Birds game tomorrow (Hawk Nelson concert afterward!).

The End.

Funny Picture: Beware of Snakes

So, it seems like I’m on a roll with all this picture posting. I got some really great shots of the fireworks tonight, which I’ll share later, but for now, I leave you with this thumbnail, which I hope you’ll click on and see full size:

Fireworks

I’m going to the Flag City Fireworks (or whatever it’s called) show tonight in Millington.

If you’re there, I’ll be trying to grab the same spot I’ve gotten for the last several years… be sure to say hello!

The End.

Plumbers

Plumbers installing my new water heater.

So, I’ve had no hot water since Friday. These are the men that came and fixed that problem.

Two highlights from that event:

  • Plumber #1 welding copper pipe on top of the cardboard box that my new water heater came in.
  • Plumber #2 lighting a cigarette with the torch that Plumber #1 just used to do said welding atop a cardboard box.

They were nice, and in about 20 minutes I should have hot water again. Woohoo!

The End.
