Boing… boing?
I was about to put a link to Boing Boing on my links list (so far a very anorexic list), but being the paranoid person I am, I hate for people to think I “promote” something or someone that perhaps I don’t actually agree with. So, checking out the site, I was saddened to find so much content bashing my moral beliefs. Arrg… yes, yes, I know – and I won’t force my moral beliefs on you if you don’t force your moral beliefs on me. It works both ways. Got it? Great.
Now, I think it’s funny about the whole Pastafarian movement. I also have not yet read anything about what’s going on in Kansas (other than what was actually on Boing Boing), so I can’t back up everything they’re doing, either.
I just see too many attitudes cropping up in all this. From “Christians” and “non-Christians” alike. Evolution remains mostly theory. So if that can be taught in a classroom, why can’t something like Creationism? If you read that article, you’ll notice that even the “creationists” don’t all agree. There are multiple views of “creationism”.
But since I’ve yet to even look up what Kansas is doing, and since I’m trying to convey that I’m not on either side of this thing, I’m going to shut up now. Ah, yes – And Boing Boing will get a link. Just not tonight.
